Executive Director completes 2026 MS-CIP Program

MS-CIP program Capstone presentation Executive Director Monica Gilmore participated in the 2026 Cohort for the Mississippi Continuous Improvement Program (MS-CIP). The MS-CIP process creates an opportunity for individuals from different state agencies to bring forward ideas, form teams, align around a single project, and ultimately launch an improvement effort around that project.

Over the past six months, teams of state employees applied project management and process improvement principles to implement real-world improvements that can be used in their agencies.

Ms. Gilmore was partnered with Lori Adams of the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services and Kristi Plotner of the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services.

The program concluded on September 22, 2026, with the capstone presentations from the seven teams participating in the 2026 cohort.
